Pulse nitrogen filling technology: an innovative solution to solve the problem of plateau food packaging

In a quinoa processing plant at an altitude of 3,800 meters in the Andes Mountains of Peru, bags of golden grains are being sealed by nitrogen filling packaging machines. When the equipment is running, the operator can clearly observe the periodic changes in the nitrogen flow rate: during the pulse injection stage, nitrogen is injected at a speed of 3.2m/s; when entering the interval period, the auxiliary pump immediately extracts 0.05% of excess gas. This precise control not only maintains the nitrogen purity control level of 97.3%, but also makes the packaging bags present the right flatness, saving 15% of the three-dimensional space for subsequent storage and transportation.

In the commissioning workshop, engineers are testing the equipment's plateau adaptability packaging capabilities through a simulation cabin. When the cabin pressure is adjusted to an altitude of 6,000 meters, equivalent to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the control module of the nitrogen filling packaging machine immediately activates the three-level response mechanism:

The latest iteration of pulse nitrogen filling technology has begun to integrate IoT data. When the equipment is deployed in Ethiopian coffee plantations, it can not only adjust the nitrogen filling strategy according to the real-time altitude, but also obtain the air pressure forecast data for the next 48 hours through the cloud. In the case of packaging freeze-dried fruits in Colombia, the AI ​​algorithm optimized the pulse interval accuracy to 0.01 seconds by analyzing the three-year record of air pressure fluctuations, narrowing the nitrogen purity fluctuation range to ±0.3%.
