 Lao Zhang, who has been doing equipment quality inspection for twelve years, has been walking with wind recently - the explosion-proof packaging equipment sent for inspection last month has finally been hung with the golden signboard of "National Special Equipment Safety Certification"! This matter is more encouraging in our packaging equipment circle than the year-end bonus issued by the workshop.

 After ten years of hard work, the explosion-proof packaging finally got the "identity card"

"Can your equipment really be used in chemical plants? Don't let sparks fly as soon as you start working!" Over the years, this sentence from customers has almost become a "tightening curse" for our factory's sales department. It’s not that bosses in the chemical and lithium battery industries don’t want to use automated equipment, but ordinary packaging machines are indeed prone to “making trouble” in dust and gas environments.

Our factory’s explosion-proof packaging equipment has been designed with the word “safety” in mind since the beginning. The motor is fully enclosed and explosion-proof, the circuit board is equipped with a flameproof cover, and even the screws must be made of anti-static material. Last year, the production line customized for a pesticide factory in Northeast China was tested for explosion-proof hundreds of times. This time, we got the national certification, which is an official “ID card” for our technology.

Reassurance for chemical factory owners

Last week, a paint factory in Shandong came to inspect the goods. Mr. Wang pointed to the certification mark on the equipment and slapped his thigh: “If this brand had been available two years earlier, the imported machine in my warehouse would not have been shut down every other day!” The resin glue produced in their workshop is a high-risk chemical. The ordinary packaging machine used before would ignite when it was slightly damp, which scared the workers away from the operating table.

Our explosion-proof packaging equipment has a unique skill - intelligent environmental monitoring system. If the concentration of flammable gas in the air exceeds the standard during packaging and sealing, the negative pressure mode will be automatically switched immediately, and the packaging speed will be reduced to a safe level. Later, we slapped the test report of the national laboratory on the table, and the security inspector gave a thumbs up on the spot: "Even the conveyor belt rollers have been explosion-proofed. Now with the national special equipment safety certification, customers no longer have to worry about the inconsistency of security inspection standards in various places. Our explosion-proof packaging equipment can not only package conventional hazardous chemicals, but also "violent" raw materials such as lithium battery electrodes and metal powders. For the Jiangsu project that was just delivered last month, the customer drove a forklift directly to deliver the equipment to the explosion-proof workshop without even asking for a buffer period.

Hard work hidden in small details

If it is not easy to get this certification, Xiao Liu from the technical department has the most say. Last winter, in order to pass the review, he led his team to simulate low-temperature electrostatic testing in a laboratory at minus 15¡æ. Ordinary equipment is prone to sparks in low-temperature environments. We added double-layer constant temperature protection to the circuit boards of the explosion-proof packaging equipment, so that they will not "lose their temper" even when working in a cold storage.

What makes me most proud is energy consumption control. My peers always think that explosion-proof equipment must consume electricity, but by optimizing the start-stop logic of the motor, the actual energy consumption is 20% lower than that of traditional equipment. A customer in Zhejiang has calculated that with the same output, the monthly photovoltaic fee of our equipment can save three workers' overtime subsidies.
