 "Glue leak occurred in Area B of the raw material warehouse! Please assemble the emergency team immediately!" At 3 o'clock last Wednesday afternoon, a shrill alarm suddenly exploded in the raw material warehouse of our packaging machine factory. As an old employee who has participated in three drills, I was still scared by this unannounced surprise exercise - this time it was serious!

Through the monitoring screen, I saw simulated smoke rising from the No. 3 storage tank area. The automatic feeding packaging machine in operation immediately started the protection program, and the semi-finished products on the conveyor belt were quickly transferred to a safe area. Safety supervisor Lao Chen picked up the intercom and said, "The packaging unit will be powered off first! The rescue team will enter the site from the east channel with adsorption cotton!" More than 20 employees rushed to the "accident point" with their tools as if they had heard a starting gun.

What impressed me most was the newly upgraded intelligent packaging machine. After it was automatically shut down, it actually sent a device status report to the central control room at the same time. "Fortunately, this new equipment locked the feed valve in time, otherwise the simulated leaked glue would have flowed into the packaging machine conveyor belt." Xiao Wang from the technical department said as he handed tools to the rescue team members. Our independently developed packaging machine linkage protection system has made great contributions at a critical moment this time.

The general commander of the drill and Director Yang of the production department acted as a temporary commentator on the scene: "Do you see the orange marked area? At the summary meeting, the drill record book of safety officer Xiao Liu was filled with suggestions for improvement: "The emergency response of the No. 2 packaging machine was delayed by 0.5 seconds" and "The route for taking gas masks needs to be optimized." Our factory's safety production standardization is not just talk on paper, and we have to chew a few hard bones in each drill. Just like Minister Yang said: "The packaging machines we make must ensure the safety of our customers, and our own factory must become a model room for safety management!" At the end, the maintenance team leader Lao Li took his apprentice to carefully check each packaging machine. He knocked on the shell of the main model and said: "Don't think that these iron guys are only responsible for packaging and sealing at ordinary times. They are sentinels guarding safety at critical moments." This reminded me of when a customer visited last month, a boss stared at the safety signs of our raw material warehouse for a long time, and finally made a decision and said: "Just because you are so serious about your own factory, I feel relieved to hand over the equipment to you!" Looking back at the surveillance video, it took exactly 30 minutes from the alarm to the completion of the disposal. This is nearly one-third shorter than the average duration of last year's drills, but we know that the real test will always be the next time. Next month, the factory will simulate a chain reaction drill caused by a sudden failure of packaging equipment. Minister Yang has said: "Every position must be trained to become an emergency expert, so that the safety line can truly grow into muscle memory." Walking in the calm raw material warehouse, listening to the roar of the packaging machine again, I suddenly felt that these iron-clad equipment also had temperature. They are not only production tools that create benefits, but also safety guards who fight side by side with us. This peace of mind may be the best quality commitment we give to our customers.
