In the vacuum packaging production of food, electronics, medicine and other industries, nickel-chromium skin, as the core component of the heat sealing system of vacuum packaging machine, is subjected to high temperature and pressure for a long time, and is prone to burning failure due to aging or abnormal operation. In response to such problems, our company has formulated standardized emergency treatment plans based on years of industry experience to help customers quickly resume production and minimize downtime losses.
1. Analysis of common causes of nickel-chromium skin burning
High temperature aging: nickel-chromium skin works in a high temperature environment for a long time, and the surface oxide layer peels off, resulting in uneven resistance and local overheating and burning;
Foreign matter stuck: residual debris or material in the packaging bag is rolled into the heat sealing area, which hinders the nickel-chromium skin from fitting with the mold and causes a short circuit;
Voltage fluctuation: unstable power supply or current overload of the equipment exceeds the tolerance threshold of the nickel-chromium skin.
2. Emergency handling process
Stop the machine and cut off the power immediately
When the vacuum packaging machine is found to have abnormal heat sealing (such as smoke or burnt smell), press the emergency stop button immediately and cut off the power supply to prevent the fault from expanding.
Check the burnt area
Disassemble the heat sealing component and confirm the burnt range of the nickel-chromium skin:
If it is a local burn, the oxide layer can be temporarily polished with high-temperature resistant sandpaper to temporarily restore the flatness of the contact surface;
If a large area is carbonized or broken, the nickel-chromium skin needs to be replaced as a whole.
Replace the nickel-chromium skin and test the system
Use the original nickel-chromium skin to ensure that the thickness and resistance value match the equipment;
After installation, first test the heat sealing temperature curve without load, then gradually load the packaging material and observe the sealing uniformity.
3. Preventive maintenance suggestions
Clean the heat sealing module regularly
Clean the debris and oil in the heat sealing area of the vacuum packaging machine after each shift to prevent the accumulation of foreign matter; Monitor voltage and current stability
Install a voltage stabilizer to prevent the impact of power grid fluctuations on the nickel-chromium skin; Establish a spare parts replacement cycle
According to the frequency of equipment use, replace the nickel-chromium skin preventively every 6-12 months to avoid sudden burning.
4. Professional technical support
Our company provides 24-hour fault response services for vacuum packaging machine users, covering nickel-chromium skin burning diagnosis, spare parts supply and equipment adjustment. At the same time, for high-frequency production scenarios, high-durability alloy heat sealing components can be customized to extend the service life of the equipment.
