In factory production, the failure of the packaging machine heat sealer body to heat up is one of the common faults, which directly affects packaging efficiency and product quality. In response to this problem, we have compiled the following emergency solutions for reference:
1. Check the status of the heating element
The breakage or aging of the packaging machine heating strip is the primary cause of heat sealing failure. It is necessary to stop the machine immediately to check the heating strip (especially the connection at both ends). If it is found to be broken, oxidized or deformed, it is necessary to replace the heating strip of the same specification (industry standard temperature range 150-220¡æ).
2. Confirm whether the fuse device is normal
The fuse in the packaging machine heat sealing circuit or the solid-state relay that controls the heating is easy to be blown due to current overload. Check the circuit board fuse, replace the same type of fuse (common specifications are 10A-15A), and check whether the chain failure is caused by short circuit
3. Check the circuit system
Poor contact of the internal circuit of the packaging machine, damage to the relay or failure of the transformer will cause heating interruption. Focus on checking whether the heating transformer is burned out and whether the intermediate relay is energized. At the same time, tighten the loose wire ends to avoid virtual connection problems.
4. Calibrate the temperature control system
Failure of the temperature sensor or abnormality of the temperature control module will misreport the temperature value. Use a multimeter to detect the sensor resistance. If it deviates from the standard value (such as the resistance of the PT100 sensor is 100Ω at 0¡æ), the sensor needs to be replaced and the temperature control parameters need to be recalibrated.
5. Check the preheating of the equipment
The heat sealing temperature may rise slowly if the packaging machine is not fully preheated. Before operation, ensure that the preheating time is ≥5 minutes (industry standard), and start the production process after the heating element is stable.
6. Adjust the pressure balance system
Uneven sealing pressure will cause the heating strip to not fit tightly with the packaging material. Check whether the bag pressing strip of the packaging machine is deformed or offset, adjust the parallelism of the sealing blade, and ensure that the pressure is evenly distributed in the heat sealing area.
7. Clean and maintain the heat dissipation structure
Long-term dust accumulation or oil adhesion will affect the heat dissipation efficiency of the packaging machine, indirectly causing abnormal temperature rise. Clean the residue on the surface of the heating element regularly and check whether the cooling fan is running normally.
